Broken Age developer Double Fine announced a partnership with Sumthing Else Music Works to release the soundtrack to its two-part adventure game today. The soundtrack will be available digitally tomorrow, April 28, and will also be available on CD in June.
The soundtrack is composed by Peter McConnell, who also composed the soundtracks for two other Double Fine games - Psychonauts and Brütal Legend. He has also composed the soundtracks for classic LucasArts games like Grim Fandango and Monkey Island.
"I'm so excited at the release of the complete original soundtrack to Broken Age," Said McConnell. "It's been quite a musical journey, over two years in the making. I'm especially glad to have been able to work with such tremendous musicians as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, The New Vocal String Quartet and the band, Clarinet Thing. They truly bring the music to life."
