Because of Nepal's influence on Far Cry 4, publisher Ubisoft is now helping raise money for earthquake victims.
They're donating all proceeds to the Canadian Red Cross, who is sending a team to help with medical relief in the Kathmandu area. They have pledged to match all donations up to the first $100,000.
Nepal suffered mass devastation from a 7.8-magnitude earthquake on Saturday, April 25, which has rendered thousands homeless and/or injured. The current death toll stands at over 5200 people.
Ubisoft's first-person open-world shooter Far Cry 4 is set in Kyrat, a fictional country based on the people, culture, and landscape of Nepal. You can donate to this cause through the Canadian Red Cross' website.
