ESL and ESEA to Host Largest CS:GO League Ever

Two of the world's most prominent eSports communities are teaming up to host the biggest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive league in the game's history.

eSports company ESL and the world's largest competitive Counter-Strike community, ESEA, are offering up a million-dollar prize pool to the best teams from North America and Europe. The ESL ESEA Pro League says prize money will increase over the coming years as it strengthens the competitive scene.

The Pro League will encompass one division per region in the US and Europe, and will consist of twelve invited teams per division. Weekly matches will be held online in the lead-up to the offline finals.

ESL's eSports arenas in both Cologne, Germany and Los Angeles, US will host the league's four-day offline season finals later this year.
