You'll Need a Good PC To Run Oculus Rift

Oculus VR has revealed the system specs you'll need for the "full Rift experience."

The specs, straight from the Oculus website, are as follows:

• NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or greater
• Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
• 8GB+ RAM
• Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
• 2x USB 3.0 ports
• Windows 7 SP1 or newer

Remember, these are the recommended specs, not minimum.

Oculus Rift's consumer version begins shipping in 2016.
