XDA Senior Member xdvs23 was able to get camera HAL3 working on the OnePlus 2 when running a Nougat ROM. To help out, XDA Senior Member MZO has put together a guide for ROM maintainers (and those who do personal builds) to merge these commits into a Nougat-based ROM. As it is right now, everything is working except portrait thumbnails having green bars (even though the main picture is fine), and RAW pictures are red.
