One of the best forms of earning revenue from apps and games, and perhaps one of the more controversial means, is via In App Purchases. Most popular apps and games have adopted the freemium IAP model rather than opt for a completely paid application. There’s no denying that IAP’s work, and they are here to stay.
That being said, not all apps and games employ IAP’s in the same way. Some adopt a more ethical and leisure-driven model towards Pay-to-Win. Others resort to frustrating the end user into purchasing them. While even more resort to giving features exclusive to IAP customers.
