Over the last few years we have seen a number of projects show up on XDA dealing with data security and privacy, the most notable being XDA Recognized Developer M66B’s Xposed module XPrivacy (2014 Open Source Rookie App of the Year) and his recent NetGuard. During that same timeframe there have been a number of big changes to Android, like optional permissions and monthly security updates. Those changes have not lessened the concern, and worry, of some users in where and how their data is accessed and/or stored.
With all of this in mind, XDA wants to know how you feel about your data security and privacy. Please follow the link to the survey form below, and we will share the results at a later date.
