Google Assistant has been answering questions and assisting Android and Google Home users, but since its release last year that has been always in a female voice. Thankfully those looking for a male alternative now have one. The access should be under Preferences and then Assistant Voice within the Assistant or Google Home settings, with the male voice listed as Voice II. NVIDIA SHIELD owners, having recently received Google Assistant, do not appear to have the option yet to select this.
